Discount Tire

They did a great job helping me when my tire pressure dropped rather quickly. They figured out the problem, Declan spent quite a bit of time on the phone with my tire warranty people and he found a way to help me when the warranty people didn't have a way to help me that wouldn't cost me hundreds up front. They got me back on the road safely and with the best financial outcome for me. Great service, great people!

Got there one day opened at eight o'clock in the morning. Simple flat tire repair. 10 o'clock in the morning. Still waiting for my car to be pulled into the garage. Complete incompetence. And this was after my appointment the week before for a tire rotation. Got there for my nine fifteen appointment. Didn't get checked in until nine thirty. Didn't get out of there until 10:30.

They are good when you want to purchase. Their guarantee or certificate of service is useless: they make you regret purchasing from them. Car was there at noon, service promised to be done by 3:30, arrived at 3:45, car hadn't moved! Kris Parker: The manager came over instead of explaining he talked down to me, very eloquent & self-righteous! There is no hope for any sense of accountability or customer service. Will NOT purchase from them ever again if gurantee means disrespect & humiliation & endless wait! Thanks, goodness for Fabian! He is the only one who tried to help! Thank goodness for him! He suggested a solution and aired my flat tire so I could go pick up my child. Kris Parker: no hope to receive any help from him. Shouldn't be amanager. He argued I didn't have an appointment...OK next time you get flat tire, earlier in the week predict that & make an appointment. This is a manager who just doesn't understand customers.

Good service, people friendly. Road getting to the store would cause you to need new tires. A little busy, causing me to wait several minutes to be waited on, and wondering if they were rushing getting my tires on. Did not tell me whether or not anything looked like it needed me to be concerned about underneath my tires, car. Had to ask about discounts. Otherwise good..

Very disappointed in Discount Tire, they really need to reconsider their first come first serve policy. I totally understand if they have people with appointments or customers are getting new tires but when you have a family that is stranded and need a tire repair done and a hour and a half goes by and they haven't touched the tire. All I can say is THANK YOU BELLE TIRE COMPANY for taking care of the problem Discount Tire didn't seem to care about. There may be a change in tire companies in the future!

I've bought tires from various Discount Tire over the years, and have been generally been happy with them. I was in the Normal, IL store today (have been there a few times) and was very disappointed. While waiting for tires to be put on my vehicle, I saw them call a customer and take him out to the shop. When they came back up front, I watched and listened to them tell the customer that the damage couldn't have been done by them, and it somehow must have been there before he came in (and he didn't notice it). While I never saw the actual damage, it was the most blatant gaslighting I've seen from a business in a long time. If that wasn't bad enough, a short time later, I listened to two employees bicker back and forth, including who should take car of the next customer. One of the employees was working with another staff member were working on a computer, while the one had just finished up with a customer. NEITHER employee acknowledged the customer at all. Matt, the one who started the argument with the guy helping another employee, continued to IGNORE the customer and began "working" on the computer in front of him. After several minutes, several more customers had come in, and they hard formed two lines. Matt then took the customer closest to him, again, ignoring the customer who had been waiting. I've dealt with Matt a couple of times, and listened to him talk with customers. He presents himself as the one "in charge" of the store, but his attitude comes across as arrogant and demeaning to staff and customers. Once the customer was taken care of, by the second employee, he left (clearly frustrated) and drove off. As someone who has worked and been a leader in both retail and customer service industries, I can say that most of the things I saw and heard today were unacceptable and unprofessional. 1) Bickering in front of customers, especially about who is going to take care of them, should NEVER take place on the floor/in a public space. 2) It doesn't matter how busy you are, you can take 5 seconds to acknowledge and greet a customer. Even a "Welcome to xxxx, we will be with you in a minute." 3) Never gaslight a customer. In this case, an approach of "While we don't think this happened in our shop, we want to make it right if this was our fault. We will look at our cameras, talk with our staff, and investigate it so that we can all be certain. In the mean time, here is some information that will help you can connect with our (insurance, corporate, etc.). I will be reaching out to them later today as well, so that we have a record of this."

Awesome! Jordan, Kyle, and Kris have definitely kept up with the traditional great services that Discount Tire has done for me in the past. I have been a satisfied customer for years and it is quite the blessing to see that nothing has changed. Jordan waited on us sharing his knowledge and did it with great patience. Kris has done the same for us in the past. Kyle did the work on the vehicles (yes, there were two.), he was not only polite but wanted to make sure that all of our questions were completely answered before we left. Just honest and hometown type of service, the kind that you would expect out of a good friend or family member. I would highly recommend Discount Tire stores in general but strongly recommend this one.
